When the hot summer temperatures begin to subside and the trees begin to transform into a plethora of colors, you know it’s the time of year to pack the camping gear and head westward to the Maryland Geocaching Society Fall Picnic. This year it will be held on October 5th at Herrington Manor State Park in Oakland, MD. The event will be held in an indoor venue so weather won’t be a factor, so come out and enjoy the beauty of Western Maryland. Be on the lookout for a night before bonfire event and be sure to make your camping reservations using Reserve America to assure you have a spot at the campground. Looking forward to seeing everyone during our yearly visit to the western part of the state!
